Core Responsibilities Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests warmly, show them to their tables, and provide menus. Order Taking: Share daily specials, explain menu items, note dietary needs or allergies, and take accurate food and drink orders via memory, a notepad, or a POS system. Service: Deliver food and beverages promptly, check in on guest satisfaction, and clear or pre-bus tables. Payments: Deliver checks, process cash or card transactions, and collect tips. Kitchen & Bar Communication: Relay orders clearly and track timing so dishes leave the kitchen hot and fresh. Side Work: Set and reset tables, roll silverware, and restock station condiments. Required Skills & Qualifications Customer Service: A friendly, patient, and approachable attitude. Communication: Clear verbal skills to explain the menu and handle special requests. Multitasking & Organization: Ability to juggle several tables and fast-paced demands. Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for long shifts and carry heavy trays or plates. Basic Math & Tech: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic cash handling.
