Supply Chain Associate - NYSC

About the Role Infratel Africa is seeking a Corps Member currently undergoing the NYSC programme to join our team as a Supply Chain Associate. The successful candidate will support the Supply Chain and Operations functions, including procurement coordination, inventory management, documentation, vendor communication, and general supply chain activities. Key Responsibilities Assist with procurement and sourcing activities. Support the preparation and processing of purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documentation. Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchases, inventory, and deliveries. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to follow up on quotations, orders, and deliveries. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment. Support the receiving, inspection, and documentation of goods and materials. Maintain an organised database of suppliers and procurement records. Assist with price comparisons and supplier evaluations. Track orders and follow up on outstanding deliveries. Prepare periodic procurement and inventory reports. Ensure proper documentation and filing of supply chain transactions. Support the team in identifying opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and cost management. Perform other supply chain and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA). Degree/HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and documentation skills. Good attention to detail and ability to work with figures and records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong follow-up and coordination skills. Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
